Gigi Templeton (née Jones) was the mother of Ted Templeton and the paternal grandmother of Timothy Leslie Templeton and Theodore Lindsay Templeton. Her first appearance was in As the Diaper Changes and her last appearance was in Chicago. She moved into the Templeton house taking Theodore’s room forcing him and Tim to become temporary roommates.
Personality[]
Gigi is a tough, stubborn woman who prefers Ted over Janice and Tim over Theodore.
She is very anti-capitalist and pro-union. She often recounts her activism days to the kids.

Tim[]
Gigi and Tim are very close. Tim idolizes her and loves spending time playing with her. He also knows how to get anything out of her purse. He is her favorite grandson.
She helped save Tim in Wrinkles & Stinkles because Theodore called her about how she loves her.
Theodore[]
At first meeting, she disapproved of Theodore. She wanted to show him that he wasn't the boss of the family. Theodore didn't like her either, due to his dislike of authority figures and due to her constant complaints about him. However, because of the conflict against old people with Fredric Estes, Theodore tried to bond with her and the two grew closer. For example, despite her initial tension with Theodore, Gigi bought him Plushythingy when his parents said no. Later, she pushed to potty train him. In the end, she loves Theodore despite his flaws and the two get along.
Fredric Estes[]
Fredric Estes invited Gigi to join the senior center and the Consortium of Ancients. At first, the two were friends. However, as Estes grew more extreme in his anti-baby actions, Gigi drifted away. It is unknown whether Estes actually likes her or is just using her to get at Theodore. By the end of the season, they are enemies.
Staci[]
Staci loves listening to Gigi's union stories. Gigi appreciates that Staci has a similar violent spirit.
Trivia[]
- Despite that she almost appears in all Season Two episodes, she doesn’t appear in the episodes like: Fugitive's Day Out and Research & Development.
- It is unknown if Gigi will return. It's possible she died before Family Business takes place.
- In Wrinkles & Stinkles, Gigi returns to Chicago and her fate actions is getting redeemed.
- In Chicago, she was with Grandpa Big Ed.
- Gigi Templeton doesn’t appear in Season Three.
