Frederick "Fred" Castellagrava, Richard "Rick" Castellagrava, and Derwin Alphonse Castellagrava, commonly known as the Triplets are one of the supporting characters of the Boss Baby franchise, featuring in The Boss Baby, The Boss Baby: Back in Business and The Boss Baby: Family Business.
Appearance[]
They all of course have similar faces, as they are triplets. They do however all wear different types of animal onesies in different colors. Rick, wearing a yellow bear, Fred wearing a blue cat, and Derwin wearing a green frog one. All three of them have brown eyes, black hair and brown skin.
History[]
During the events of The Boss Baby The Triplets worked with Theodore as a part of his team, to help in the Puppy Co. operation.
In their first appearance in Boss Baby: Back in Business (S1 EP1), they help out Theodore Templeton by ordering a Baby Swing from Japan to deliver in Scooter Buskie house, the swing causing mayhem instead.
In The Boss Baby: Family Business, their names are revealed to be Fred (Blue), Rick (Yellow) and Derwin (Green). Now, they are all grown up, their job being police officers.
Personality[]
The Triplets act as Theodore's yes-men, agreeing to everything he says and giving Theodore motivation, but usually do not give any actually helpful advice, only giving absurd advice that isn't helpful in any way. In Boss Baby: Back In Business, Season 1 Episode 1 (Scooter Buskie) Tim got the triplets to help him catch Scooter Buskie who was going rogue in Baby Corp. As an overall, Theodore would use the triplets as a plan B, support, and to get him what he needs. Through the series though, it was mentioned that the triplets were “Make-up Specialists” (S1 E5) and worked in the “lab” (S1 E3), with them figuring out what type of clam Mr. Pineapple was being fed by Bootsy Calico.
Back In Business[]
This time, the Triplets actually say stuff more than yes sir or no sir.
A reoccurring quote on S1: Ep. 6 is "cat got away" and "yeah anarchy!"
Trivia[]
- In a The Boss Baby: Back in Business episode, the frog triplet says that his name is “Derwin Alphonse Castellagrava” Which means the last name of the other triplets could be “Castellagrava“
